Can I use my VMx address on my LLC Articles of Organization?
Yes. Your VMx address is a real suite at a real office building and is usable as your principal place of business address on LLC and corporate formation filings in New York and Texas.
Is VMx a registered agent service?
No. VMx is a business address licensing service only. If you need a registered agent for your LLC, that is a separate service you will need to arrange independently. Many formation attorneys and online services provide registered agent services.
What happens to mail sent to my VMx address?
VMx does not handle, receive, or forward your physical mail. You are responsible for setting up USPS mail forwarding from your VMx address to your preferred address within 30 days of activating your license. Our VA provides USPS forwarding setup guidance during onboarding.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Monthly subscribers may cancel anytime. Your address license remains active through the end of your paid period. Annual subscribers are billed for the full year at checkout. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual term.
Will my VMx address show a PMB designation?
No. VMx addresses are real suites at real office buildings. They read as suite addresses, not as PMB designations, which is the critical difference between VMx and traditional virtual mailbox competitors operating out of mailbox stores.

Legal
VMx provides a license to use a professional suite address at a real office building as your business address of record. This is a pure address licensing arrangement. VMx is not a registered agent service, a mail handling service, a mail scanning service, or a mail forwarding service.
VMx does not receive, open, handle, scan, sort, store, or forward physical mail or packages on your behalf. Any mail or packages delivered to your VMx address that is not successfully forwarded under your USPS mail forwarding arrangement is not the responsibility of VMx.
Upon activation of your subscription and execution of your Business Address License Agreement, VMx grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your designated VMx suite address solely for the following permitted uses:
You may not use your VMx address for any of the following purposes:
You are solely responsible for establishing and maintaining USPS mail forwarding from your VMx address to your preferred physical address. USPS mail forwarding must be established within thirty (30) days of your subscription activation date.
Failure to establish and maintain USPS mail forwarding within the required period constitutes a material breach of these Terms and your Business Address License Agreement. VMx reserves the right to suspend or terminate your license with ten (10) days written notice upon a material breach of this obligation.
VMx provides setup guidance for USPS mail forwarding through our virtual assistant as part of your onboarding. This guidance is informational only and does not constitute a guarantee that USPS mail forwarding will be successfully established.
VMx offers two subscription plans. The monthly plan is billed at $35.00 per month. The annual plan is billed at $350.00 per year, equivalent to two months at no charge. Payment is processed securely through Square.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each annual term. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. VMx does not provide prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
VMx's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the VMx service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
VMx is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the VMx service, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of revenue, or loss of data, even if VMx has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VMx, Earnings & Profits LLC, and their respective members, managers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the VMx address, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
VMx may suspend or terminate your address license immediately upon written notice if you engage in any prohibited use identified in Section 3 of these Terms. VMx may terminate your license upon ten (10) days written notice for material breach of any other provision of these Terms, including failure to maintain USPS mail forwarding as required by Section 4.
Upon termination, your license to use the VMx address is immediately revoked. You must promptly update all business filings, registrations, and correspondence to reflect a different address.
VMx reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email to the address on file. Your continued use of the VMx service following notice of a material change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the VMx service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York, New York.
These Terms of Service, together with your executed Business Address License Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and VMx with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

VMx retains your personal information for as long as your subscription remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for legal, accounting, and business purposes. When your information is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
Executed license agreements and partner agreements are retained in accordance with applicable record-keeping requirements under New York law.
VMx implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Square and is not stored on VMx systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and VMx cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
The VMx website may use standard web analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the site. These tools may collect non-personally identifiable information such as browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. You may adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, though some website functionality may be affected.
VMx does not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral advertising technologies on this website.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information VMx holds about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact VMx at support@getvmx.com. VMx will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time consistent with applicable law.
The VMx service is intended for use by adults operating or forming legitimate business entities. VMx does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us at support@getvmx.com and we will promptly delete it.
VMx may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email. Your continued use of the VMx service following notice of a material change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
